# Get or create user's referral code

> Returns existing referral code or generates a new one if none exists.

The referral code can be used in two formats:

- For OG NFT holders: `https://gnosispay.com/oginvite?rcc=${referrerCode}&utm_source=referral&utm_campaign=${userId}`
- For non-OG NFT holders: `https://gnosispay.com/nonoginvite?rcc=${referrerCode}&utm_source=referral&utm_campaign=${userId}`
